Ron Mueck è un artista che apprezzo molto per 2 motivi: In primis è il responsabile della creazione di tutti i pupazzi ispirati ai disegni di Brian Froud utiliozzati per il Film Labyrinth, che resta una delle massime punte del cinema fantasy degli 80's. In secundis Mueck è un interessantissimo scultore, dal tratto iper realistico che si cimenta con il "grande formato" ovvero delle gigantografie, estremamente reali, del corpo umano. Ho sentito parlare del suo lavoro per la prima volta in occasione della Biennale di Venezia del 2001 dove aveva esposto l'opera che trovate nella foto qui a fianco.

Not only Ron Mueck is the autor of the models, based on Brian Froud drawings, used for the movie Labyrinth but he is also an extremely talented sculptor whos following the concept of playing with the Human Body's Shapes oversizing, or downsizing them.
